Job Description Junior Unity Developer for Immersive Services ROLE SUMMARY The Client's Immersive Services team is looking for a full-time Junior Unity Developer software developer to support our XR (AR, MR, and VR) efforts. This is a hands-on development role and work can be 100 remote. 6-9 month contract with an option to join the team full-time after June 2022. FOCUS AREA (COMPETENCY) Application Development, HR Workforce Transformation REQUIRED SKILLS Desire to build AR and VR experiences using Unity, Unreal Engine, and other immersive development tools. The ideal candidate will have some experience with larger teams building projects. MUST work well with others strong communication, time management, etc. PREFERRED SKILLS Experience working in one of the following industries Gaming, ARVRXR software development, Learning Development, Education, Corporate Training, MovieTV Production is highly desirable. Experience working with PlasticSCM or similar, GIT, GITHub, Omniverse, Cognitive 3D, Immerse, andor PixoVR are all positives. REQUIRED LANGUAGE English ROLE DESCRIPTION The Immersive Services team has recently spawned out of the client's AI Emerging Technology Group and is focusing on supporting the firm and our clients by building solutions focused on immersive training (Job-Skill Simulation and LeadershipSoft Skill training), Collaborative VR (VR-Based Workshops, Classroom Training, Meetings, Sales Presentations, etc.), co-working (small team immersive collaboration), and XR based Job Aids. Our mission is to help our clients understand how to leverage these new immersive technologies to bring business value to their organization. This role will be a contributor to our Immersive Services development team that builds solutions for our clients and for internal use. ADDITIONAL DETAILS REGARDING THIS OPPORTUNITY Applicants can live anywhere in the United States, but hours are based on US CST working hours.
