Responsibilities:
• Our automotive design team is undertaking a game engine development inhouse.
• You will be responsible for leading this project. This is a great opportunity to work in automotive.
• You will build some customized tool using the Game engine, Unreal or Unity to do visual evaluation and visual testing
• Example, replicating into a cockpit and testing some HMI scenarios in a realistic environment, put on the AR/VR goggles a try different versions of an interface, without having to build anything physical that would have function, the design is in the game engine.
• Also will do some tool and create provide high end visualization for designers, so they don’t have to concerned how to use the unreal game engine. The designers can start visualizing their designs very quickly, based on internal CAD data they would create in their daily work flow.
Requirements:
• Game Engine programming experience
• Unreal Engine or Unity experience
• AR/VR experience is definitely a big plus, as it is a big component of the work.
Location: Torrance CA
Hybrid Work Schedule: most of the work can be completed from home but will need to come into the Torrance office to test onsite with the actual hardware on a weekly basis.
Duration: 6+ months (part time or fulltime)
