What You Can Expect: This full-time position is for Unity Software Developers and will report to the DS2 Hub in Niceville, FL. In this position, you can expect a creative and professional work environment on a cross-functional team with opportunities to contribute on various projects in relation to VR, AR, LVC Training, modeling and simulation, synthetic data, and more. Hybrid opportunities are available. Payrate for this position is from $50,000-$90,000/year, depending on your experience. Must be a U.S. citizen with an ability to obtain a U.S. DoD secret clearance.


Responsibilities - What You’ll Do:

  • Full Software Lifecycle application development – designing, developing, debugging, & documenting applications
  • Communicate design and concept intent to product owner and software engineers
  • Ensure the quality of the design & development through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Actively participate in concept development & client meetings
  • Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games
  • Work in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines
  • Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code


Qualifications - We Need Someone Who:

  • Actively programs and develops in C++/C#
  • Has 3+ years of experience as a gaming/simulator developer with Unity 3D
  • Has a deep knowledge of Unity API
  • Is able to engage with teammates, both virtually & face-to-face, to plan projects, seek out or provide help on issues
  • Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Game Development, or related field


Preferred - It’s Even Better if You:

  • Have knowledge of geospatial concepts and locations aware services
  • Have experience developing with AR/VR/XR technologies
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge Unity packages (XR, HDRP, etc.)
  • Have experience with gaming physics, navigation, and terrain models
  • Specialized skills in lighting, animation, shaders, rigging, and/or 3D modeling
  • Are a Unity Certified Professional
  • Experience with Military Training simulator development
