DecisionPoint is seeking an Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Analyst to support DTRA’s Counter WMD Technologies Department. This position will be based out of Lorton, VA in a Hybrid remote capacity.


Duties & Responsibilities:


Acting as an Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Analyst on our team, you’ll apply your expertise to advise and assist our Department of Defense client to reduce non-traditional threats around the world. Your efforts will contribute to a portfolio of programs including detection & diagnostics, testing countermeasures, testing candidate treatments, and using AI to predict candidate treatments. You’ll support efforts to improve game-changing technologies like the DoD’s Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) to support the complex communication and coordination needs of first responders, providing them with situational awareness and the ability to react in real-time. Your work will help your client take their portfolio into a direction using synthetic environments and Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) technologies. Your work will help provide DoD personnel with comprehensive Chem-Bio analysis capabilities to support situational awareness, decision making and threat management.


Qualifications


Required:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance or Interim Secret Clearance REQUIRED
  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years of experience in related field (school projects and Capstones can be included)
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Understanding of how to apply AR/VR and gaming technologies
  • Knowledge of operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational evaluation of the utility and effectiveness of postulated forces in the context of specified Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)


Desired:

  • Experience with military Chem-bio response procedures
  • Experience with providing subject management expertise to DoD clients
  • Experience with threat hazard modeling
  • BA or BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Research
