What You’ll Do

As the first 3D/AR Engineer for thangs.com you will use your knowledge of AR standards, frameworks, and tools to help deliver 3D content across a variety of mobile and web platforms, in addition to AR/VR devices. The ideal candidate is someone with working experience using geometric principles in addition to digital content concepts like textures, colors, and animations.

What We’ll Expect from You

• Bachelor’s degree in CE, CSE, or Math/Statistics
• 2+ years of Native iOS (ARKit, usd) and Android (ARCore, glTF/glb) experience
• 4+ years of engineering experience using C or C++
• 4+ years of experience working with 3D development/rendering (e.g. Unity, Unreal)
• Previous experience architecting reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications
• Proven ability to be an excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator

Nice to Have

• Native app development (Android and/or iOS)
• Experience with computer animation or video game development
