We are at the bleeding edge of deploying immersive technologies like Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) that will enable the next iteration of the Metaverse. We are looking to add to our marketing and community outreach team. NO VR or AR experience is required.

REM5 Virtual Reality Laboratory is Minneapolis’s premier XR laboratory and event space. REM5 offers a sophisticated XR experience to consumers, businesses, and schools, combining the latest in XR technology, hand-picked content, great pizza, and a fine selection of local craft beers, all in the comfort of a semi-private lounge. Our flagship location is located on the border of St. Louis Park and Uptown, right off the Cedar Lake Regional Trail/Midtown Greenway.

A large part of REM5’s mission is making this technology accessible to the masses. As a result, it is very important for us to communicate our products and services in a way that piques interests from an audience that would not consider themselves “gamers.” We have built a strong foundation in this messaging, and are seeking an individual to accelerate this initiative.

Roles & Responsibilities include:
-Run the REM5 portfolio of social media accounts (FB, IG, SNAP, Tik Tok)
-Posts
-Stories
-Engage with comments/DM’s
-Assist with email marketing campaigns
-Produce image and video content and copy for digital marketing and engagement
-Drafting press releases or blog posts


Requirements (NOT ALL REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED):
-Experience running personal and/or professional social media accounts with large following and engagement (FB, IG, SNAP, Tik Tok)
-Experience running email marketing campaigns - Mailchimp/other
-Experience producing photo and video content and copy for digital marketing and engagement
-Experience working with Canva and/or Basic Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
-Experience drafting press releases or blog posts
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
-Exceptional communication skills
-Team player
-An interest in Metaverse technology and content (no experience required)
-Applicants must be at least 18 years old

Compensation: $20/hr plus bonus potential
Job Type: 15 - 25 hours a week, hours can be flexible
