Our mission is to improve patient outcomes through better training and assessment, increase the adoption of higher value medical technology, and democratize access to the latest surgical techniques globally.
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious person to join the product management team. As a product manager, you will help shape and deliver our surgical training and assessment platform and production pipelines. This includes managing feature backlogs and priorities, designing new features, and understanding the needs of customers. You will manage your own roadmap, as well as helping clarify the strategic vision and roadmap for the company.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing feature backlog for key aspects of Osso VR ecosystem, including the internal production pipeline and virtual reality feature set
- Optimizing the concept-to-production pipeline to deliver value more quickly to our customers
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand their needs
- Collaborating with design, engineering, and other groups to understand technical assets, obstacles, and scheduling needs
- Writing feature specifications, collaborating with UX on wireframes and prototypes
- Incorporating user research, user studies, and usability testing into product
- Interacting with customers to understand their needs
- Acting as Osso’s subject matter expert for product experience, including competitive products
This is the right opportunity for you if you:
- Have 4+ years of product management experience, including some experience designing, testing, and shipping features for game production pipelines or virtual reality products
- Have practical experience with user testing, including selecting metrics / KPIs and measuring product changes against them
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have experience with Unity, Unreal, or similar engines and development systems
- Are comfortable using VR for extended periods of time
- Are willing to view graphic surgical videos as reference material
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous VR / AR experience
- Previous medical industry or enterprise experience
- Video game industry experience a plus
- Scrum / Agile development experience a plus
