Software Developer- LabVIEW!

We are looking for a certified LabVIEW developer or architect with at least 5 years of experience to develop some updates for our core software suite. The software suite includes LabVIEW-based code that controls our Voyager VR motion chairs, and software that manages the entire XR Cinema.

This unique opportunity is part of Positron’s engineering and product team which engages in research, technology development, and the creation of XR Cinema products with expertise that spans the full breadth of mechanical and software areas.


Primary Responsibilities


Develop and release new features for our core Positron software, Positronic Show Manager and Positronic Conductor.
Perform bug fixes and improve performance.
Create automated tests for the manufacturing department for quality control of the Voyager chair product.
Help with any other automation and product improvements.

Experience required

BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or similar degree
Certified LabVIEW developer, architect or equivalent experience.
Understanding of QDMH or similar design patterns.
Understanding of networking protocols such as UDP and TCP/IP
At least 5 years of professional experience as an integrator or software engineer.
Worked on a few commercial projects in the past using LabVIEW as core.
Experience in Robotics or control/automation is preferable.
Experience with Test and Automation is preferred.
