Your Life As A Software Developer

This software engineering position enjoys a flexible, remote, work-from-home schedule.

In this remote software engineering position, we rely on you to lead the development of our patented test automation solution for extended reality (XR) and gaming. Whether you are enjoying working from the comfort of your own home or taking in the community at your local coffee joint, you enjoy the flexibility of the role and thrive in an environment where you can focus on developing excellent gaming products. Much of your time is spent developing new value-added features for a variety of 2D, 3D, and VR applications. You work closely with the lead architect for our test automation framework as well as with our customers so that you understand their automation needs. Additionally, you serve as 2nd-level customer support and assist with innovating new testing methodologies in Immersive Experiences.

On top of utilizing your software development skills, you regularly tap into your robust communication skills as you help with documentation, and demonstration of product use through simple game scene creation. You also integrate your game developments with future and existing supported platforms, including Windows, macOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation, Xbox, and various others for VR and AR. Ultimately, your day consists of engaging in all kinds of interesting software engineering challenges, and you thrive on finding viable solutions that benefit our clients. You are task-oriented, and although you enjoy your remote accommodations, you are always sure to check off everything on your to-do list! WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS AN EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

• Previous experience with game development in Unity or Unreal Engine
• Applicable experience with DevOps and CI/CD-related technologies
• Applicable experience with C++, C#, Python, and command-line scripting
• Prior SCM experience using Git solutions, Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, Pytest, and Selenium
• Previous experience with building test frameworks or infrastructure

A bachelor's degree in computer science would be strongly preferred. If you can meet these requirements and perform this remote software engineering job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
