Our client, a leading AR/VR software firm, is seeking a CTO on a direct hire basis. Role is fully remote but the candidate has the option to work a hybrid schedule at their office in the Loop if desired.

Chief Technology Officer

The Role:

We are looking to add a Chief Technology Officer to our team. You will play a crucial role in leading a team of talented engineers that deliver realistic and engaging virtual experiences.

Who you are:

You have a desire to mentor and share your knowledge with others. You know how to map out the “art of the possible” while inspiring your teams and leading from the front. You know how to set the roadmap for product launches. You are someone who prides themselves on taking ownership of your teams and their outcomes as well as delegating accordingly. You have realistic expectations on what can be accomplished, how it gets accomplished, and the timeline to complete it. Lastly, you have the vision to make the correct decision, and also the courage to change your decision if it will drive a better outcome.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development/ Programming or equivalent mix of education and experience
• Experience working with the latest 3D and VR technologies
• 10+ years of experience leading teams in “technology first” organizations
• You are comfortable presenting to clients about the importance of 3D/VR/AR technologies
• CPG, Retail, or B2B experience is preferred
