The Scene Understanding team’s charter is to understand the real world and convert this understanding into a programming model that is natural for developers to work with. We are a mix of top engineers, computer graphics, computer vision and deep neural network experts that work together to build the most unique, impactful, and innovative environment sensing technology in the world.

We are looking for a software engineer who has interest skill and propensity in low level C++, real time computational geometry and graphics. You will be part of the team that works on e2e driver and runtime bring up of our scene understanding runtime, low level optimization, and other aspects of our program.

Responsibilities

We are looking to build up a strong team that focuses on taking the greatest new scientific innovations and shipping them as customer products. We have a strong team working towards delivering the SU runtime and are looking for smart, passionate people with a can-do attitude who want to make this technology work for all.

We Look For Individuals Who Have Interest And Experience In Any Of The Following

We need talent to work on our computational geometry, data analytics, and machine learning data and validation pipelines. Few if any candidates have experience in all these areas but we’re looking for talented individuals with passion in the space who can work across these various disciplines.
  • Software development experience for products and or services
  • End-to-end integration of our technology on various platforms and tools on from device and systems level engineering to external toolchains and infrastructure.
  • C++ development for real time graphics systems.
  • Computational geometry background and experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience 
  • 3+ years of experience shipping graphics/computational geometry software
  • 3+ years of demonstrated C++ expertis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in graphics and or computational geometry
  • Background in computer vision and signal processing
  • Experience writing high performance vision code
