Job Description

New World Rides is seeking Technical Operators to be responsible for the maintenance and facilitation of our Virtual Reality(VR) ride experience known as Roto Loco in addition to multiplayer free-roam VR experiences. We are looking for flexible, positive, and responsible individuals who have a good record of customer service and passion for technology. Must be at least 18 years old. Weekly hours starting at 10-20 hours a week. Long-term benefits included.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform inspections on the machinery
• Interact and answer questions about the experience to customers.
• Assisting customers with entering and exiting the experience safely.
• Collect and manage customer payments.
• Sanitizing the headsets and ride equipment between rides.

You are a good fit if you possess the following:

• Outgoing - Friendly and engaging with customers. Good at making people feel comfortable and safe.
• Intermediate Computer Skills - Must be able to handle a variety of computer troubleshooting including program crashes and other system glitches.
• Responsible - In charge of handling large, heavy machinery. The Roto Loco can be potentially dangerous if not operated properly.
• Good Physical Condition - Must assist customers up a 5ft set of stairs, strap said customers securely into the ride, and custom-fit the VR hardware. These tasks will require moderate flexibility because operators must reach around seated passengers to lock and unlock the lap bars.
