Job Description
A Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for building relationships with dealplay.io partners and working closely to achieve joint revenue objectives. They are consistently analyzing the market specific to their region, identifying new opportunities for new and existing partnerships. The Director of Strategic Partnerships owns the strategic direction of dealplay.io in their region reporting to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manage the strategic partnership(s) to deliver on business targets
- Define and reinforce partner and customer requirements related to the strategic partners in alignment with senior management goals
- Develop and iterate upon appropriate go-to-market plans
- Recruit, onboard and enable new partners while expanding existing partner relationships
- Prioritize sales and product investments, and measure ROI results
- Ensure that effective internal processes and legal frameworks are in place to manage and govern partnerships
- Ensure that strategic partnerships and partnership processes are appropriately visible both internally and externally
QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of successful B2B partnership and sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage partner programs, and drive execution to deliver results
- Proven track record of successfully building relationships and negotiating with senior executives across organizations
- Ability to think creatively, work on complex problems and provide out-of-the-box solutions
- Use independent judgment to accomplish objectives
- Work independently and regularly provide detailed status updates, raise and resolve issues with urgency
- Knowledge of alliances development, management principles, and processes
- Experience with successfully negotiating and restructuring complex agreements
- Strong attention to detail, entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent and collaborative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
