Position Description Summary:


Work with an exceptional international team that develops, integrates, and sells augmented reality technology to world class companies across a wide variety of industries. Our AR Systems Engineering team designs turn-key augmented reality solutions for a wide variety of industrial applications. We have a highly creative and collaborative team and are growing rapidly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of engineers who are creating drawings, scopes of work, and bills of materials for PC-based augmented reality solutions for manufacturing.
  • Recruit and develop new team members as we grow.
  • Promote a safe and productive work environment where engineers are supported and encouraged.
  • Ensure that the team works well with customers to understand their requirements and design systems that meet those requirements.
  • Work with the sales team to manage the relative priorities and deadlines for each project.
  • Drive operational efficiency through better engineering tools and methods.
  • Lead and improve processes for the testing and documentation of hardware.
  • Collaborate with software teams implementing customizations and new features.
  • Ensure that the operations team is getting the support that they need as they deploy systems.
  • Gather feedback from the operations team to improve designs over time.
  • Initially this person will be working alongside their team and shifting more time and focus to the management role as their team grows.

  • 10+ years experience with engineering design.
  • 10+ years experience in customer-facing technical roles.
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing plants.
  • 3+ years experience leading technical teams.

Be able to work on a flexible schedule, when necessary, with potential to flex hours to accommodate customer requirements. Occasional requirement to work late or during a weekend to accommodate a customer schedule or time zone.
