Prosper XR is a leading virtual and augmented reality production company based in the Triangle. In response to our continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager who can work as a full-time independent contractor through at least mid-May 2022. This position is great for people who enjoy technology and production, enjoy working independently, and crave experience with cutting-edge technology.

About the position:

Prosper XR is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join us on an innovative and exciting project. In this role, you will manage high and low-complexity projects to successful completion, from initiation through delivery and eventual broadcast to an audience of thousands of people.

You will support the Executive Producers with the production calendar to ensure tasks and our deliveries are completed on time and within budget to broadcast.

This role requires excellent coordination, communication and proactive project management skills.

What you will do:

- Work with the Executive Producers directly to understand the goals and objectives of the project

- Assist in hiring, onboarding, communicating with independent contractors

- Assist with production and post-production

- Coordinate project tasks and monitor deviations from the scope with support from the team

- Manage the Production Calendar and communicate any changes

- Communicate effectively and quickly with team members

- Be proactive in working to identify and raise awareness of project risks

- Be open to receive feedback and put into practice suggested improvements

- Accurately maintain all project processes, approvals, and tools

- Coordinate cross-functional team meetings

- Assist with the development of content

- Assist with production and post production of digital content

- Proactively support project delivery to reach broadcast deadlines

Qualifications:

- Detail-oriented and self-motivated

- Desire and ability to learn new technical skills

- Professional communication skills

- Ability to keep pace with project deadlines

- Ability to be flexible and comfortable with many moving parts of a project

- Foundational computer skills (PC, Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, Adobe a plus)

- 1+ years of relevant work experience

- Production experience is a plus
