Summary

The Technology Development Group (TDG) is working with some of Apple's most advanced and exciting technologies, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) explorations. The Data Collection Operator will work on site full time in the Santa Clara Valley area in partnership with our core engineering teams. In this role, you will be responsible for operating multiple data collections, facilitating a spectrum of user studies, and supporting large scale data collection operations. Some of the functional responsibilities will include: checking participants into data collection stations, ensuring participants are properly screened, communicating all ICF rights and obligations to participants, and being able to fill in for data collection operators as needed.

Description

You have been closely involved in user studies, and know how to use your observational skills while gathering data. You’re comfortable working independently, but thrive cross collaborating. You are successful because you are detail oriented, self- motivated, and have a high tolerance for change and ambiguity in partnership with empathy for your team and participants. Your success is heavily derived from the strength of your relationships. You will have a strong technical and communications background.


Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience required


Additional Requirements

- Proven experience facilitating a broad range of user research / studies on accelerated timelines.

- Ability to thrive in cross functional, fast-paced technical environments under ambiguous circumstances.

- Experience in data collection/annotation, user study demos, participant coordination.

- Background in technical productions / experiential events.

- Experience with Unity/Unreal and AR/VR development is a plus.

- Experience in a range of lab functions (inventory management, system set up/ operations, data collection, etc) is a plus.
