Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in HDI PCB layout, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with IPC specification relating to PCB fabrication and processes.
  • Experience with HDI rigid, rigid-flex, and flex designs.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with signal integrity simulations.
  • Experience designing rule creation from schematic through to layout.
  • Experience with Cadence software tools (e.g., schematic capture and layout).
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and mechanical exchange.
  • Knowledge of version control systems and ECAD processes.
  • Ability to coordinate PCB/flex activities during the development cycle.

About The Job

You will be working on designs for Augmented Reality (AR) products and own the design from layout. You will work along side Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineers to provide reliable and manufacturable solutions. You will be the team's main point of contact for PCBs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCB and flex solutions.
  • Manage the solution pipeline from design definition with strong guidance towards design for manufacturing.
  • Iterate with mechanical engineers to come up with optimal design solutions.
  • Coordinate with Component Library Engineering to ensure data sheet and symbol accuracy.
  • Collaborate to advance what can be attained with complex space constraints and components.
