Meta’s Reality Lab is shaping the future of consumer electronics in the emerging fields of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. As Product Visualization Specialist, you will partner with design and marketing to create world-class, photorealistic product imagery that pushes the state-of-the-art in rendering and styling. You bring visual storytelling and industry leading hands-on rendering and 3D skills together to create delightful brand-building digital product photography and artworks. You will be part of a vibrant team of artists to collaboratively explore and deliver the product imagery of the future.
- Create state-of-the-art imagery of category-defining products.
- Help create the visual language of our brand through imagery.
- Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams on complex multi discipline programs.
- Conceive elegant, effective ways to showcase our products, highlight features, and inspire consumers.
- Lead/own imagery needs with a combination of internal and external resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, motion design, art/animation or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product rendering, 3D animation, 3D art or a related field.
- 2+ years experience of rendering and lighting consumer electronics or wearable tech products.
- Demonstrated expertise in product animation with a solid skill set ranging from concepting and storyboarding to final rendering.
- Domain experience in rendering process from polygon optimization through raytracing.
- Experience working with 3D CAD data.
- Experience in a physically-based rendering program(s) (Redshift, Octane, VRay, Arnold, Corona, etc.).
- Experience working within Cinema4D, Redshift, Photoshop, After Effects.
- Experience with creating visual effects (Houdini or Cinema4D).
- Experience keeping track, identify, interpret and translate trends.
- Clear understanding of the notions of Metaverse, VR/AR/MR.
- Great knowledge of branding and marketing best practices.
