What will you be doing?


A successful candidate must have 5+ years experience working in a real-time production environment, building playable game worlds, motion capture/live linking, post-processing, and rendering. You will be working on the forefront of new VR and AR experiences tailored for our customers. Together we will pioneer workflows as we experiment and integrate new technologies into our production pipeline.


Key Responsibilities


  • Work with the Vicon motion capture system to capture/cleanup animations and live link them to Metahumans, other characters, and props in Unreal Engine.
  • Setup environments and effects for real-time use with virtual production systems.
  • Create innovative VR/AR experiences for clients as well as internal projects.
  • Setup UI interfaces and functionality using Unreals blueprints and UI systems.
  • Experimenting with new technologies and find how to integrate them into our production workflows.
  • Work in a team of creative professionals with milestones and production deadlines.


Skills Needed

  • Expert knowledge in Unreal Engine.
  • Experience creating blueprints, C++, developing tools, automating tasks, working with shaders, and all post-process materials in Unreal Engine.
  • Skinning, Rigging and Bone Retargeting for Humanoids or Digital Humans in Unreal.
  • Create VR/AR experiences.
  • Proficient in industry standard software and workflows such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, and the Adobe Suite.
  • Base knowledge of modeling, texturing, rigging, rendering, and compositing.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge, work well within a team as well as independently.
  • Strong portfolio showing your experience appropriate for the role.

Bonus

  • Knowledge of virtual production real-time compositing using Composure in Unreal.
  • Understanding of Take Recorder in Unreal.
  • Knowledge of datasmith exporting /importing workflow.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
