Salary Range: 60k-140k USD with stock options, with relocation expenses to Miami covered

We’re looking for passionate Unreal Engine developers who can provide direct value to the player as we implement new features and fix bugs that impact gameplay. You will be able to communicate directly with the VAIL VR community to gather feedback, further improve features and give players the best experience possible. This is for someone that deeply enjoys gaming, is excited to join an early stage, fast-paced VR studio, and can engage and contribute.

Required Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Experience with Git or similar source control systems, Plastic or Perforce a plus


Desired Skills


  • Thorough understanding of UE4 architecture and preferred pipelines
  • Good understanding of the Unreal Engine SDK including C++ and Blueprints, multiplayer, UI, AI, animation, CPU/GPU/network profiling
  • 2+ years of experience in Game development
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of concurrent programming
  • Experience with build systems, continuous integration, and deployment
  • A strong plus: a background working with asset management systems, asset bundles, and in particular downloadable content (DLC)
