Job Title: AR/VR Program Manager

Location: Burlingame, CA or Redmond, WA

Duration: 12 Months contract


Role & Responsibilities:

Project Manager working with AR/VR software development projects.

Candidates must have worked in similar fast-paced environments (gaming, production, start-up, etc.).

They will need to manage multiple projects, work with external vendors to help track deliveries. Experience as Project Manager leading software development teams is critical, and candidates should have led project teams, from start to end) using Agile methodologies. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software release process is a must-have.

Previous experience with Virtual Reality (VR) or Augmented Reality (AR) projects.

Project Managers will prepare status reports and related project documentation, including project issue log and risk mitigation.

They will facilitate meetings and manage project financials as required.


Skills:

6-9+ years Project Management Experience

Experience working on/managing multiple complex projects simultaneously

Extensive knowledge of the discipline, with ability to see around corners, mitigate risk, and carefully plan ambiguous projects

Strong Communication Skills

Ability to work with lots of different types of people, and leverage relationships to solve problems in ambiguous situations

Skilled in participatory leadership, persuasion, and targeted communications

Experience within AR/VR Space

Background in Game Development/Game Development industry (preferred not required)


Nice to have Skills

SDK and API development

Release management (notably regular release cadence) experience

Experience setting up NDAs, SOWs, Invoicing, vendor onboarding and management
