Description

SAIC is making significant investments in Immersive Technologies as a key enabler for enterprise modernization across Defense, Federal Civilian, Cyber and Space markets. Augmented Reality, in particular, offers tremendous opportunity for improving how information is captured, displayed, and shared across the enterprise.This is remote work that may be performed from any location in the United States.

This position will work within the Immersive Technology team and across the organization to discover, define, develop, and deliver next generation Augmented Reality solutions.

• Architect efficient and reusable systems that drive complex AR applications
• Prototyping new interactions and features with an eye toward intuitive usability and feel
• Drive design and implementation for proposed creative projects for Experiences in AR
  

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Game Development, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

• Four (4) years or more experience as an engineer developing user-facing features on games or other 3D interactive products. Demonstrated experience interfacing with other internal and external teams to incorporate their challenges and innovations.
• Experience with augmented and virtual reality (HoloLens, Magic Leap, Rift, VIVE, Gear VR, etc.)
• Experience with C++ and/or C# programming
• Experience with a combination of Windows, Android, and iOS programming
• Experience with Unity 3D and/or Unreal Engine
• Experience with Real Time networked features (ie, synchronous multiplayer games)
• Experience in UX design or game design
• Strong understanding of 3D math, linear algebra, and techniques
• Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  

DESIRED

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering
• Knowledge/Experience with User Research and User Experience Design
• Experience or Familiarity with AWS services EC2, Containers or Lambdas, S3, IAM, RDS
  

CLEARANCE

• US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Target salary range $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
