As a Strategic Partnerships Lead, your understanding of underlying technology and trends in critical ingredient areas such as silicon, optics, and displays will help bring an informed business perspective to Google’s considerable engineering and product investments in Augmented Reality and post-smartphone devices. In this role, you will work closely with the engineering, operations, and product teams to help define and set the vision and the strategy for how Google engages with the broader ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the ecosystem and strategic trends to guide product managers and engineering teams on engagement strategies with major technology partners to establish partnerships across SoC and deep technology (i.e., optics and displays)
  • Partner with product management, program management, and engineering teams to run partner facing process for the aforementioned technologies
  • Run rigorous models and agreement processes to effectively discuss multi-layered agreements that may span multiple hardware products, other Google services, and corporate activity (i.e. equity investment)
  • Develop engagement strategies at the C and Vice President level
  • Partner with legal on various types of inbound/outbound agreements, and with corporate development on agreements that may require balance sheet arrangements in addition to traditional partnership models to maximize investment across Augmented Reality and device categories
