Job Description

Expected compensation: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a Video Editor (AR/VR) to shoot/edit raw footage (including in-game content) for final video segments and work closely with various design teams.

As a Video Editor (AR/VR), You Will

• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.
• Edit videos/photos and deliver finished products.
• Closely collaborate with creative teammates and counterparts.
• Follow assigned brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
• 3+ years experience in a relevant role
• Examples of your work via URL
• Experience with creating videos using raw footage (in-game) for AR/VR
• Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g. Final Cut, Adobe After Effects, Avid Media Composer, etc.)
• Working knowledge of video capturing equipment
• Creativity, verbal/written communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve
  

Commitment:This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month contract position (with the possibility for extension or conversion) staffed via HireArt and based in Seattle, WA. It will be fully remote until offices reopen and is available to candidates local to the Seattle area.
