We are looking for a Product Management Director to build the holistic product experience in Virtual Reality (VR). The work spans core experiences (navigation and communication), growth, engagement, and verticals. The person should have confidence in deep product thinking and execution and extensive experience growing and leading large product organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic direction, establish shared vision across the company by obtaining buy-in on critical priorities leading to product execution.
  • Lead the definition, development, and launch of initiatives to drive innovation and growth for products.
  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other functional experts.
  • Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver experiences that are recognized best in the industry.
  • Cultivate culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor.
Minimum Qualification
  • 15+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience taking highly ambiguous problems and form a structured opinion on what we should do (if anything).
  • Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives.
  • Experience managing and communicating effectively with executives.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex projects.
