Job Description
- Invent, analyze, design, develop and optimize real time VR, MR, and AR computer vision algorithms in areas related to intraoperative tracking and medical education paradigms
- Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific, medical, and engineering disciplines. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Develop applications using available SDKs or a variety of XR consumer devices, tracking systems, and imaging systems
- Write clean readable code and be able to debug complex problems that span systems,
- Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace problem solving
- Proven track record of XR development
- Work across multiple stacks
- Experience in UX design
This position will require onsite presence but the ability to work from home a few days a week will be possible once oriented to the role. BS in Engineering to include computer science or human computer interaction or a related field and 5 years of professional engineering experience;
Or MS in Engineering to include computer science or human computer interaction or a related field and 3 year of professional engineering experience;
Or, PhD in Engineering to include computer science or human computer interaction or a related field and 1 year of professional engineering experience. Masters or PhD preferred.
