SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER

Based in San Francisco, UK, and Copenhagen, Rock Paper Reality (RPR) is an A-team of experts that help companies unlock the full potential of Augmented Reality. We develop award-winning AR applications, WebXR experiences, and products for companies around the world.

As RPR’s Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for working with the team to scope, design the blueprint, and manage the success of development projects. You will work daily with the RPR project team (CTO, CEO, designers, development leads, consulting manager, etc) as well as the client to set expectations and drive the success of the project.

The ideal candidate thrives while working remotely with a high degree of autonomy and has an acute sense of accountability for operating along a project timeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create & manage project plans and align tasks to the production and development schedules
• Define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress
• Own client communications with the aim of return business
• Communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.
• Align project objectives with company goals and sold services, and ensure the client and project team are clear on objectives and outcomes of the project
• Monitor production and quality to customer/stakeholders
• Identify and promptly resolve issues and risks through collaborative working with the delivery team and management
• Implement change control procedures where out-of-scope tasks arise
• Form lasting partnerships with customers
• Deliver our services according to every Statement of Work

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of project management and/or related experience
• 2+ years experience with JIRA 
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients in a wide range of industries

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 2+ years of experience in AR/VR
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience working with creators and developers who build or design AR / VR experiences
