Facebook’s Sound Design team is part of the Central Product Services Organization and is responsible for creative sound and music design across Facebook, Inc. and Facebook Technologies. The Sound Design team is seeking an Audio Producer to support both strategic and tactical initiatives across our VR and emerging technology initiatives. This role is expected to leverage subject-matter expertise in project management to design systems and workflows, as well as operationally support priority Sound Design initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, track, and support VR and emerging technology programs and initiatives, both internally and cross-functionally
- Lead operational execution of collaborative programs across design teams, driving opportunities for strategic data collection and reporting
- Create and execute new operational processes with little oversight
- Create and maintain task management system workflows, both internally and cross-functionally
- Drive communication for collaboration with teams across a variety of disciplines
- Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment
Minimum Qualification
- 3+ years of professional experience in creative production
- 3+ years of experience with task management systems, such as Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.
- 1+ years of experience in leading small teams (8-10 people)
- Fluent in project management workflows
- Communication skills
- Proficiency in Mac OS, including office tools and data management tools
Preferred Qualification
- Experience or familiarity with digital audio workstations, such as Pro Tools or Logic
- Experience with audio production in a technology-focused environment
- Experience working with audio in VR projects
- Experience working effectively in a remote environment
