Job Description: echo3D (www.echo3D.co; Techstars 19’), a company providing a cloud platform for 3D/AR/VR is looking for a sales engineer interested in the intersection between AR/VR and cloud technology to join the team and assist in driving the technical stage of the sales process.

Work Hours: Full-time (flexible working hours, paid vacation time)


Responsibilities:

  • Explain the technical and functional aspects of the echoAR platform and all its features to users.
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and provide technical information by answering user questions and requests
  • Establish new customer accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call
  • Establish personal rapport with potential and actual customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Identify current and future customer requirements and communicate such requirements to the rest of the team
  • Support the sales process of the company as well as the design and execution of the Company’s business roadmap
  • Drive strategies to expand the Company’s community building, customer acquisition, and customer retention efforts
  • Update and expand existing resources and documentation for customers and employees
  • Play an active role in sales strategy and business planning, and help to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and leadership
  • Handle all confidential information with the highest degree of discretion without exception
  • Utilize company assets in a prudent and judicious manner
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Get the company from 6,000 registered users to 60,000.


Requirements:

  • +3 years of industry experience in both technical advice and sales.
  • Understanding of augmented and virtual reality technologies
  • Must have hands on experience with APIs
  • Possess both technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading technical demonstrations in person and remotely via a screen sharing application as well as building demo environments and use cases
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to an audience of varying technical understanding
  • Ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems
  • Be able to work collaboratively across teams and with other people
  • Be able to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines
  • A passion for problem solving and “roll up your sleeves” demeanor
  • US work authorization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Experience with live streaming and working with client-side coding languages
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of the echoAR platform
  • Experience with teams using Agile/Scrum
  • Possess a passion for unique and disruptive thinking
