The job explained: 

The Spatial Engineer position reports directly to our Growth Product Manager. You will work closely with the QA and Marketing to improve our product through developing world-class features for our customers and accelerate spatial computing innovation market adoption.


The role you play: 

As a Spatial Engineer, you will analyze our customer feedback and design, develop, test, document, deliver and monitor performance on new and existing features within the Vibed product. This entails utilizing our Product Roadmap, Technology Stack, DevOps pipeline, Git Repository and other engineering tools/resources to ensure we are staying ahead of release schedule.


How you qualify: 

  • Programming ability in Swift/Objective-C, C#, C++ and JavaScript
  • Experience working with IDE's (Unity, XCode, etc.) and Serverless Backends (PlayFab, Firebase, AWS, etc)
  • GitHub Repository Portfolio that showcases extended reality experience
  • Strong rapid prototyping skills and analytical aptitude
  • Excellent software design, problem solving, and debugging skills
  • Strong knowledge of operating system fundamentals and driver model concepts
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations based on market research

  • Key Success Metric: 5-10 Features Shipped per month
  • Secondary Metric: 40-100 Repository Commits per month
