Our team is looking for a 3D Generalist Artist to design and create AR effects and interactive experiences. The 3D Generalist Artist needs to have a high level of creativity and be able to clearly communicate their ideas to the art director and their team. Flexibility within project requirements, working well under pressure and multitasking are required skills in a production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Concept, design and model 3D visual assets for animation and AR projects.
• Utilize a combination of 2D and 3D design to produce animations and graphics.
• Prepare sketches or layouts to present to the team.
• Create and prepare 3D models, animations, and visual effects within the proprietary Spark engine
  

Must Haves

• Creativity, verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
• Investigation and problem-solving ability.
• Basic ability to visualize in 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
• Ability to create optimized assets for efficient experience performance.
• Strong understanding of interactive media and familiarity with games.
• Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software.
• Experience using Unity or Unreal or similar software.
• Familiarity with Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
• Any experience working in augmented reality or virtual reality projects.
• 2D/Sketching or illustration skills (especially with concepting and sketching)
• Experience in Animation or rigging
  

Education

• Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred.
  

Hours & Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Menlo Park, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.
