The Facebook Reality Labs group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building the tools and experiences that make people feel closer together. This includes Oculus and Portal products, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). We are seeking a Social & Influencer Marketing Manager, Portal to join our FRL Marcom team.The Social & Influencer Marketing Manager, Portal will partner with internal teams and agency partners to develop social & influencer content, lead community management and evolve our social media strategy for owned Portal channels. We're looking for a strategic and creative individual who can manage short-term needs and long-term strategic initiatives. In this position, you will be part of a team to help develop and define the people, processes and tools needed to deliver best-in-class social & influencer marketing programs.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and agencies to develop social & influencer content for Portal channels (e.g. Product Marketing, Creative, Sales, Integrated Marketing, Communications, Performance Marketing, Communications Planning).
  • Pioneer and evolve our social + influencer strategy to continually highlight the objectives and role of our owned social and influencer marketing program within the broader marketing mix.
  • Lead the development of our content marketing that people will want to engage with across all organic channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest & TikTok.
  • Author strategic content briefs to inspire creative ideas that leverage the social & influencer channel's inherent strengths.
  • Develop and own the measurement framework that demonstrates the performance of owned social + influencer channels against business objectives
  • measuring the effectiveness of our efforts, with an emphasis on continuous optimization and iteration.
  • Identify and implement processes to drive efficiencies and best-in-class work.
  • Define and develop the editorial calendar to support campaigns and evergreen content across organic channels, ensuring all work adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Manage day-to-day workflow with agency partners in collaboration with program team, in-house creative and production teams.
  • Manage social budgets and build/own SOWs + PO’s with vendors.
  • Build and manage paid media strategy for boosted posts on owned channels in partnership w/ the performance media team.
Minimum Qualification
  • 6+ years managing owned social content strategy and program management within tech, lifestyle or entertainment industries.
  • Experience influencing organizational change.
  • Experience leading agency partners/in-house creative and inspiring them to make the best work for our social channels.
  • Proven record of creativity and innovation in the social media & influencer marketing space.
  • Experience working with all levels of influencers (from micro to celebrity) in support of social content.
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience in online community management & moderation.
  • Experience with smart home technology.
