The Facebook Reality Labs group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building the tools and experiences that make people feel closer together. This includes Oculus and Portal products, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). We are seeking an Integrated Communications Strategy Manager to join our newly formed AR Integrated Communications Strategy team. This role is responsible for regional Integrated Communications Strategy for FRL consumer-facing campaigns across AR. The Integrated Communications Strategy Manager will help drive innovative and fresh communications strategies and tactics, while maintaining a consistent brand across audience/consumer touch points. Integrated Communications Strategy Managers will manage the campaign strategy for portfolio marketing communications including paid media messaging, media planning (paid media partnerships, outbound paid media) and its impacts on shared, owned, and earned communications. In addition, Connections Planners will work closely with internal creative and external agency teams to ensure a communications platform is properly integrated across the channels to deliver on FRL communications tasks. In this position, you will be part of a team to help develop and define the people, processes and tools needed to deliver best-in-class social marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Connect with broader cross-functional teams to help define: audiences, barriers, communication launch dates and tasks, and journey mapping/ecosystem definition of communication vehicles that will offer the most effective outcomes
  • Oversee how to weave various communications and messages into concise and focused communication streams that will engage and empower integrated marketing plans
  • This role will involve both innovation and implementation skillsets. Tactical and campaign execution expertise will be valued greatly. The ability to use insights to drive decisions
  • Execute large scale brand and media partnerships investments across TV, OOH, Digital, Performance, Audio, and Video Streaming in conjunction with Media AOR
  • Manage external media agency of record and coordination with creative, production, and execution agencies
  • Measure performance and outcomes of messages in market and tracking communications performance to inform future decisions and investments. Help shape and drive learning agendas in conjunction with data science and research and insights
Minimum Qualification
  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years experience in media and 2+ years integrated media strategy/planning experience
  • Experience in connecting audiences for engagement across touch points
  • Demonstrated organization and planning skills to manage content and channel calendars to ensure alignment with strategy and priorities
  • Experience with various communications channels, including digital, print, email, social, and which channel is best for different messaging objectives
  • Experience managing and influencing multifaceted communications projects
  • Experience creating, implementing and measuring a comprehensive strategy across multiple media
  • Experience working with project teams to bring insights to action
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience with consumer hardware and e-commerce marketing
  • Global planning and buying experience
