We are looking for an exceptional Senior Principal Data Governance/Master Data Management Analyst who can…

Lead enterprise data governance and master data management implementations to improve accuracy in operational processes and decision-making capabilities. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders to prioritize, scope and define critical data domains and data elements, partner with business and IT teams to assess data quality and implement solutions utilizing enterprise data governance & MDM platform and tools.

Planning (~30% focus)

• Develop data governance and master data management strategic roadmaps for critical data domains working with business leaders; Example: Products, Customers and Suppliers
• Develop tactical delivery (incremental) plans in support of the roadmap working with project managers
• Develop data governance policies and training plans working with data stewards

Execution (~70% focus)

• Conduct data assessment, review and gather business inputs, document data cleansing specifications and test specs
• Partner with technical teams to implement & test technical solutions (DQ Reports, DQ Dashboards, Governance consoles etc) to achieve targeted data quality
• Partner with business leaders to identify data stewards for data domains; Implement data governance trainings and data quality measurement processes

What you will bring to the team, along with your passion for data is:

• A Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in data management/data governance roles within business or IT
• Proficient in SQL with hands on data analysis skills focusing on data quality dimensions; experience using enterprise tools such as Informatica IDQ, Informatica MDM, Enterprise Data Catalog in implementing data governance and master data solutions
• 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry with exposure to ERP (Oracle and/or SAP), CRM, PLM and other business applications
• Strong documentation and communication skills targeting presentations to business and technical audience
• Background in data architecture, data warehouse, business intelligence reporting and analytics
• Influencing skills to obtain buy-in from business and IT stakeholders
• Familiarity with SOX, PII, GDPR and other compliance requirements
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically within USA
