Our Mixed Reality team develops and implements hardware and software evaluation for products, with a specific focus on how our products are best used by the Department of Defense.
As a Senior Program Manager on the Mixed Reality Customer Field Test Team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to evaluate our Mixed Reality product lines. The job provides an opportunity to:

- Work with an engineering team of world class hardware and software professionals who interact tightly with Microsoft’s application and intelligent cloud services teams.

- Evaluate Microsoft Mixed Reality devices against practical Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense use cases
Responsibilities
- Provide cross functional leadership to engage in and support an expanded approach to testing, validation, and adoption of nascent technologies developed for the Department of Defense. Partner closely with all critical stakeholders to understand and communicate product capabilities and limitations and to contribute to the evaluation of the testing parameters both internally and with the customer.
- Drive efficiency and excellence in analysis and presentation of technical information internally and to our customers.
- Partner with Customer Field and Release Enablement (CFRE) and Engineering Field Test (EFT) teams to execute customer tests with a high degree of proficiency.
- Ensure that our devices meet the standards of current and future warfighters
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hardware, software, test, and business teams.
- Operationalize technical solutions to ensure tactical effectiveness, suitability, and sustainability and communicate the impacts internally and externally.
- Maintain a commitment to Diversity and Inclusion across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must be US citizens, green card holders, of have been granted asylum in the United States.
- Minimum of 8 years’ operational experience as a member of the United States Special Operations and/or Para-Military communities.
- Multiple deployments to areas of declared conflict in support of the Global War on Terror.
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating acute knowledge of Special Operations and/or Intelligence Communities.
- 2+ years of demonstrable experience with the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem.
Additional skills that will be beneficial to the role but are not required.
- Recent experience working as a part of or in support of United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) or subordinate organizations.
- Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of military tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Robust and demonstrable knowledge of current devices employed by US Armed Forces for uses including (but not limited to) - Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), Tactical Radios, Precision, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Devices, and mission planning systems.
- Experience working as a part of or in support of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated practical experience.
