We are seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition who will be responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning and execution of the talent acquisition strategy, supporting the Global Operations- support and SG&A organization. In this role, you will build and scale the staffing team with areas of specialty to meet the growth trajectory of the organization. You will partner with other functional areas in People organization to scale the process, analytics, vision, and strategic plan to align with current and forecasted talent needs as the organization evolves.

To be successful in this role, it is critical that you are a leader that inspires confidence, motivates, and engages the team, and develops strong, collaborative relationships to develop best in class hiring processes that enables the organization to acquire top talent. In addition, you manage the company's staffing and human resources planning functions and ensures the company's staffing requirements are met in accordance with governmental requirements. You will oversee recruiters, technical recruiters, temporary and contract labor resources, and employment representatives in staffing activities and identifies and maintains contracts with recruiting sources. Another key responsibility will be to establishes and oversees maintenance of effective servicing avenues and internal/external resume tracking systems to speed the process of identifying qualified candidates. You may maintain manpower planning system and provide guidance to management on union matters and/or affirmative action plans. You will develop and implement recruiting plans to staff open requisitions while minimizing cost per hire and provides information feedback trends and concerns of candidates to others in Human Resources and management as appropriate.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Identify future talent needs in partnership with the business and develop proactive recruiting and sourcing methodologies to meet those needs
  • Develop recruiting strategies that include social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews for deep dive on recruiting performance
  • Actively coach recruiters to partner with customers to build an outstanding hiring manager and candidate experience
  • Partner with functional areas of HR including compensation, benefits, HR Business partners, and the HR Service Center to ensure an optimal candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Provide guidance in decision-making by using data and analytics to influence business decisions to support the corporate strategy
  • Work as part of a talent acquisition leadership team locally (US) and globally to identify ongoing talent development needs and process/efficiency improvements as well as innovative ideas to ensure we are a premier recruiting organization
  • Lead a talented team of recruiters and engage with them at a high level to understand their obstacles and challenges
  • Prioritize work, remove barriers, and commit to accountability

  • Empower team members and promote teamwork
  • Provide line of sight to Micron and Human Resources strategic objectives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or other related discipline preferred
  • Experience in leading mid to large size teams in different locations within a growth-oriented organization
  • Leadership or management experience successfully leading recruiters in an environment of transformation and change in a highly aggressive and competitive talent market
  • Experience in recruitment marketing, employment branding, university relations and/or recruiting operations including high volume activity & tight deadlines with a validated, quantifiable recruitment track record
  • Ability to generate reports that results in data driven business decisions
  • Previous success with introducing, implementing, and sustaining key Talent Acquisition initiatives and showing direct links to achievement of the business strategy
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
  • Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices, behavioral-based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and recruiting metrics
  • Must be highly organized, analytical, action and detail oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and collaborate cross-functionally to establish trust, respect, competence and confidence while delivering the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers
