Backend Software Engineer

West Henrietta, NY, US (Onsite from Day 1) - Full-time Position with Direct Client

Salary: $100K -$120K Per Annum + Benefits

Job Summary:

The Web Application Software Engineer will take part in all aspects of the development cycle such as planning, developing, and testing software product. The right candidate has the ability to understand customer needs and execute product design and will translate functional, non-functional requirements into implementation, validating the implementation through various levels of testing.

Required Qualification:

·        3+ years of experience in REST API design and Development

·        3+ years of experience in SQL and/or No-SQL databases

·        Some experience in networking protocols

·        Bachelors or Masters preferred in Software Engineering, Computer Science, New Media Design, or a degree in an equivalent field.

·        Understanding of imaging or optic industry

Highly Preferred Skills:

·        REACT, Angular.js, or Django

·        Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and GIT

·        AR-Augmented Reality (OR) VR-Virtual Reality (OR) MR-Mixed Reality
