Having acquired The VOID assets and IP, our mission is to take VR well beyond where it has been before. HRP lives at the intersection of technology, entertainment production, and themed attractions. Our designers and engineers have created some of the most advanced virtual experiences in the world, such as the groundbreaking Jumanji: Reverse the Curse, and Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire. These hyper immersive virtual experiences allow for guests to see, move, and even feel our digital worlds as if they were in fact reality.

We are looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join our team and help lead critical work on our Engineering team.

• C# .NET
• SQL Server

• Azure & Azure DevOps
• Kubernetes (on prem & on cloud)

What You Will Do:

• Architect and develop highly available, scalable, and distributed microservices
• Maintain consistency between on prem & cloud services
• Set standards & best practices for all backend software in the company
• Research new technologies & 3rd party integrations, develop proof of concepts
• Interface with game developers to support their needs
• Build a platform that can be continually enhanced while maintaining support for released VR experiences
• Keep up with the bleeding edge of technology and push the limits of reality to new heights the world has yet to see

What You Will Need:

• 8+ years developing web services
• Strong expertise in c#
• Experience greenfielding new application suites
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams
• Experience mentoring other engineers
• Able to guide definitions of work and provide proper estimates
• Ability to see the “big picture” and understand the needs to address before making assumptions or conclusions
