Virtual Reality (VR) systems technician
The position involves configuration, setup and testing of custom and off-the-shelf VR systems in Santa Barbara, as well as domestic and international travel to technical installations at customer locations.
· Configure, test and stage high end VR systems before deployment / shipping
· Maintain / update inhouse equipment such as our Techlab demo system
· Prepare for and assist with customer demonstrations
· Assist product managers with development and testing of new VR tech
· Assist with system installation at customer site and trade shows (domestic and international locations)
· Assist with equipment procurement, receiving and shipping
· Calibrate sensors and controllers for the WorldViz VR motion tracking system
· Take on individual tech support cases
· Maintain external and internal documentation
