Ballast VR (http://ballastvr.com) is the world leader in virtual reality experiences for waterparks. We design, manufacture and deploy several of the most cutting-edge immersive attractions for waterparks. Since 2017, we've dreamt up 3 world-first experiences and have installed experiences in 40 locations across 16 countries.


Our leadership team is searching for a senior sales professional to drive the growth of the company, initiating, developing and closing deals with executives and GM's from all over the world, and contributing to the high growth of the company's current ARR.

 

About you

  1. You are a self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast paced startup environment. You have demonstrable records of scaling sales programs for previous organizations and can own the process of CRM's, sales strategies and negotiation of deals from end-to-end.
  2. You have a strong commercial awareness and are an excellent communicator with exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
  3. You will be able to articulate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm amongst prospective blue chip clients, and have an excellent track record in delivering and exceeding against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  4. You will be working with an exceptionally positive and hard working team, who all share the vision, drive and goals of the company and its founders.
  5. Preferably a minimum of 5 years experience within the attractions industry and related experience with selling technology products in the attractions industry.


Key Accountabilities: 

  • Develop and implement operational sales plans
  • Identify industries and companies that would benefit from their world class product
  • Seek, develop and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Ensure a thorough working knowledge of the sectors and industries for which you are working in.
  • Work diligently on developing new multi-channel revenue streams for the company.
  • Proactively encourage collaboration to achieve team goals and act as an executive sponsor to help other team members with complex sales opportunities.


Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in electronics product marketing
  • Experience working with virtual reality products
  • Advanced qualifications in business and go-to-market strategy
  • Experience leading product marketing for early stage products or companies
  • 5+ years experience working within the attractions industry
