The Mixed reality Product Integrity team innovates and develops hardware and software test for products across the entire Mixed reality Devices portfolio.

Job Purpose

As a Senior Program Manager, Customer Release and Test, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of new processes and test methodologies for our Mixed reality product lines. Aligning with the Product integrity team you will contribute to overall product quality and alignment with customer expectations, focusing on seamless product release to customers and all associated requirements.

As part of the Microsoft Mixed Reality Product Integrity Program Management Team you will assist in developing and executing release processes, test plans and strategies for our next generation of Technologies and Products to create innovative products and experiences which lead the industry and create a loyal and rapidly growing fan base.
  • Work with some of the top minds in the industry and impact technology innovation and strategies for Microsoft Mixed Reality Products
  • Work with an engineering team of world class hardware and software professionals who interact tightly with Microsoft’s application and intelligent cloud services teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide cross functional leadership to motivate internal stakeholders to engage in and support expanded approach to customer release methodologies
  • Partner closely with the Product Integrity team to understand and communicate product capabilities and limitations and to contribute to determination of these parameters through testing both internal and external with the customer
  • Rapidly develop and implement new processes for training beta customers to utilize and test pre-release products
  • Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) responsible for development and delivery of product characterization documentation to be utilized by customers during pre-release testing
  • Drive efficiency and excellence in analysis and presentation of technical information internal to Microsoft and to our customers
  • Partner with Customer Field Test and Engineering Field Test teams to execute realistic customer tests with a high degree of proficiency
  • Develop targeted program plans inclusive of schedule, budget, risk and execution requirements for pre-release products as needed
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hardware, software and engineering test teams
  • Collaborate with cross functional partner teams
  • Maintain a commitment to Diversity and Inclusion across the organization
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in high intensity environments or programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • General understanding of Mixed Reality and related technologies
  • Overall understanding of key test methodologies and processes involved with validation of new technologies
  • Previous experience with defense contractors and or DoD new product introduction
  • Active DoD security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Subject matter expertise with government customers in particular defense segments
  • Proven success in training and execution for complex products in austere conditions
  • Experience developing complex program plans for execution and risk management
  • Demonstrated experience leading by influencing and working effectively across functions.
  • BS, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
