We are looking for an exceptional Production Planner who can…


Schedule high level operations in such a manner to effectively utilize system capacity, workforce and other resources. This position will communicate and work with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Finance groups to meet business goals. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Production Schedule, as it relates to the forecasted demand, production inventory changes, and overall handling of all customer demand. Other responsibilities will include creation and publication of the department’s key performance indicators. Provide analysis and analytics to leadership team.


  • Develops weekly capacity build plan consistent with the business objectives
  • Liaison between the demand and supply sides of the business
  • Communicates early warning critical material shortages preventing on time shipment
  • Utilize best known methods to provides Operations with detailed MPS plans and schedules by product line
  • Monitors and addresses action to appropriate personnel for material needs and load balancing between production and service sites
  • Engaged in planning aspects of Engineering Change Requests and communication of upcoming changes through the internal supply chain.
  • Report and communicate on time delivery to product line


What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity:


  • 5 years in Inventory Control and/or Planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Planning Bills of Materials in a multi-product family environment
  • APICS certification and Lean Manufacturing experience desired
  • Experience/working knowledge with Oracle ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets required
  • Self-motivated to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems


This role offers a hybrid work option for days remote and onsite at our Rochester, NY office.
