Your Impact

Vuforia is the leading AR platform. Our technology has been adopted by a global ecosystem of around 1 Million developers and partners, who have developed more than 100K applications for consumer and industrial use on a range of handheld and headworn devices. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of Vuforia’s next generation AR application framework, for industrial AR.

Your Day-To-Day

• You develop state-of-the-art Augmented Reality technology and build new features for PTC’s Vuforia AR product portfolio that our developers and users will love.
• You put yourself into your users’ shoes when designing software interfaces and documenting your work.
• You write code for multiple mobile platforms and AR headsets, and keep it robust, fast and easy-to-test.
• You integrate cutting-edge computer vision technologies into the Vuforia software stack, and design and implement intuitive AR user interfaces around them by developing software components natively as well as using Unity.
  

Your Skills And Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related area
• Excellent C# development programming skills
• Experience with Unity Engine
• Commercial software development experience with C++ integration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile or eyewear app development with at least one of the following platforms is a plus: iOS, Android, HoloLens, MagicLeap
• Familiarity with AR systems is a plus
• Experience with shell scripting, Python and Continuous Integration is a plus
