Senior Researcher – 5G / 6G / AR / VR / MXR / MAC / PHY / Air Interface

Opportunity to join a leading networking R&D team, working on cutting edge wireless technologies enabling VR/AR/MXR through system design. This a fully remote working opportunity in North America for an experienced researcher interested in continuing involvement with patents and publication generation.

 As a Senior Researcher, you will:

• Generate technologies through investigating current state of the art and relevant 3GPP standards, driving new idea developments on air-interface topics.
• Develop technology and standardization roadmaps.
• Evaluate various beyond 5G and 6G wireless protocol designs.

Required skills for this Senior Researcher role:

• PhD with several years industry experience
• Background in 3GPP
• Experience with MAC and PHY layer design
• Experience with AR / VR / MXR concepts
