Summary:
The main function of this project manager role is to plan and drive operational activities related to AR/VR game development. You will support the development of games with external studios. Projects are temporary contracts with studios and typically last in 6-month increments. The project manager’s responsibilities include planning and driving operational activities related to game development in support of the Head Product Manager and Creative/Game Director.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product, TPM, Design and Engineering to develop and drive reliable execution plans
• Support Team Sprint operations
• Help teams understand and improve their velocity
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in the field
• Proven knowledge and application of techniques to maximize effective game and software development
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree, PMI preferred, not required
