Title: Intern – Photolithography Overlay Engineer

Photolithography Overlay group is responsible to deliver groundbreaking technology and roadmap to ensure semiconductor device structurally aligned and related function. Our group works on all product family in Micron, engaging closely with various internal departments globally, and critical semiconductor vendors.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Finish the on boarding training, bootcamp, orientation as required.
  • Work with overlay as well as other groups to understand scope of intern project, intermediate and final goal. Actively engage the discussion and make recommendations.
  • Present intern project in presentation format to a large number of audiences at the end of internship.
  • Independently develop algorithm that is suitable for specific application. Be able to document progress, lesson learned, and write step by step instruction how to use your algorithm. to people w.o data science or coding background.
  • Engage in user interface develop.
  • Raise issues and ask for help in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding or familiarity of semiconductor processing and structure.
  • Education background includes data science track on top of main major focusing on engineer or physics, or semiconductor related area.
  • Have experience on data science capstone project engaged with industry is preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and development. Ability to build production-worthy technologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relations with multi-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in statistics, data analysis, data modeling. Design of Experiments (DOE) is preferred.
Education Requirements
  • M.S./Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics with data science track is preferred. Or BS in Engineering, Physics or some type of relevant area of study to semiconductor, with data science track is preferred.
  • Candidate must not graduate before September 1, 2022
