(SportsVTS) is revolutionizing the world of sports training with its proprietary technology that creates Simulated Reality training experiences, allowing athletes to combine real-world repetitions (e.g., dropping back in the pocket, throwing a real football) within the immersive environment of VR.
QBSIM, the first product from SportsVTS, is the only simulation solution that allows a quarterback to train by passing a real football in a mixed reality environment. Simulated VR players act and react with artificial intelligence comprised of over 10 years of game data and statistics. The platform leverages sports science, big data, and state of the art technologies to help players maximize performance by learning faster through a focus on neuro-recognition of patterns and minimization of injury risk.
MMQB is a football simulator game that gives any passionate fan the opportunity to feel what it is like to play on the biggest stage. MMQB is perfect for consumer entertainment at venues such as sports bars, stadiums, arcades, and amusement parks.
General Technical Requirements:
- Must be proficient with Windows 10
- Having experience with VR applications is a plus
- Having concert venue/event experience is a plus (similar stage set up)
- Must be able to/ learn to identify technical issues and find a solution on the fly. This includes hardware and software.
- Ability to identify cables of all sorts and plug them into designated sources (ac power, cat6/ ethernet, video display cords)
- Ability to operate mechanical and electrical equipment in a safe manner
- Able to identify individual components of a computer system
- Able to identify components of a networking system
- Able to follow specific/detailed instruction
Labor Requirements
- Construction/Road Crew background is a plus (already accustomed to operating equipment, tools etc. in a safe manner)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to climb and utilize a ladder safely
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely
- Able to read and then build structures with solely a schematic in hand (i.e. truss system, hanging windscreen/nets)
- Able to identify arising problems and solve during system setup/teardown
Must be able to:
- Maintain a valid class C driver's license (21 or older due to car rental)
- Pass background check
- Maintain professionalism while in the field
- Travel expectancy: 60%-80%
Technical Support:
- Ability to field technical support calls when necessary
- Ability to track work task
- Able to identify technical issues associated with the QB SIM platform as a whole
