We are looking for an Optics Cleaner who will be responsible for hand cleaning glass substrates prior to coating; such as lens, prisms, windows. What you will do is:

  • Perform daily tasks inside a controlled environment using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Review drawings and instructions to verify physical dimensions, cleaning methods, and appropriate tooling
  • Load and unload fragile, precision substrates from coating tooling
  • Quality inspection of optics pre and post coat
  • Documentation record keeping, updating logs and file quality reports
  • Maintain a 6S work environment


What will you bring to the team is:

  • Motor skills and ability to hold small parts with provided tooling
  • Able to work in a cleanroom environment
  • Attention to detail, visual acuity, and manual dexterity
  • Experience cleaning Calcium Fluoride substrates and thin film coating knowledge
  • Experience using ultrasonic clean line or related equipment
