We are seeking a Product Strategist on a contract basis to help support our Customers' business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Research and recommend the most impactful ways of growing emerging technologies and help shape our vision for growing virtual reality and the metaverse.
• Research past and current trends in growth strategies for emerging technologies, virtual reality, and relevant consumer hardware products.
• Recommend the most impactful strategy for Oculus acquisition and influence senior product leaders to incorporate your recommendations into their roadmaps.
• Create material and presentations for team meetings, presentations, and other key events.
  

Must Haves

• 5-8 years for a level 5
• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Ability to collaborate with other business units and senior stakeholders.
• Mastery of presentation software applications, especially Google Slides.
• Previous experience in a strategic role within a large organization.
• Previous product strategy experience.
• Ability to conduct independent research and apply learnings to build a strategy.
• Ability to prioritize and recommend an approach using data.
• Previous experience leading strategy in a corporate environment, preferably at a large tech company.
• Strategy or research on emerging technologies, especially VR.
• Familiarity with virtual reality.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, strategy, product management, UX research or a related field.
  

Hours & Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Burlingame, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.
