The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of designers, scientists, product managers and product marketers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways.
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help drive the GTM launch of Snap’s AR development software and technologies. Working closely with our Camera Platform and Lens Studio teams you’ll collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop the strategy and go-to-market launch of Snap’s AR development software, technologies, and help grow our ecosystem of AR creators and developers.
The ideal candidate will be able to earn the trust of cross-functional partners in Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams. The ability to source robust feedback to inform the roadmap of emerging AR technologies, help set goals for the success and adoption of features, and coordinate with key partners to meet product goals.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with product leaders and cross-functional teams on initiatives to define the vision of where we want to go, how we get there and the tradeoffs associated
- Influence future product development with a customer-centric perspective, in particular audience development, positioning and value prop frameworks, and roadmaps for new AR use cases and adoption strategies
- Be a recognized expert of the Augmented Reality space and collaborate with a group of Product Managers, Designers & Partnerships Managers to develop and execute global go to market strategies, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications and marketing activations
- Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create & socialize activation initiatives, and drive alignment at each level of the company, from peers to senior leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of the augmented reality ecosystem dynamics and constraints, from the products and tools creators & developers use to build an audience, to the ways they effectively monetize
- Experience working with technical engineering and ML teams and understanding of advanced AR creation tools
- Experience working on consumer hardware or software for hardware brands/products
- Experience partnering closely with product teams to influence product strategy and roadmaps
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's in business, economics, psychology, or other related field
- 1+ years professional experience in product marketing, program management, or AR / 3D creation
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a product marketing, specifically AR development software and technologies
- Experience working with 3D creators and developers
- Advanced qualifications in business and go-to-market strategy
- Experience working in growing nascent ecosystems for creators or developers
